Mt. Bachelor Free Ski Day Pictures

The 2008 free ski day at Mt. Bachelor was a blast once again. The deepest fresh powder I've ever seen!! The weather was so bad that the ski area decided to schedule another free day later in the season so more people can make it. I didn't take many pictures because of the blizzard conditions, but here's a few to help remember the day.

We had a group of 33 people! There's a few missing from this picture - they must have been next door getting ice cream or something.

We stopped on the way down at a rest area with this big canyon.

The resort's huge parking lot.

Me after falling a few times. Ice on your face is an interesting feeling. - We stopped at Taco Bell on the way home.

Actually she is over 100 years old. And yes she still went skiing, it's one of the activities that she enjoys the most. Although her very favorite is riding wild bulls in Spain.

Haha...another free ski day at Bachelor, later?  Maybe we can make it up.  Yeah, I know what you mean about the "snowboard stigma"...it seems to attract enough slobs that the decent ones (like you and a lot of my friends) get a bad name.  Oh well, keep riding and maybe you can change the reputation, eh?  :)
